8 The sculpture Tree of Life for Hedvig
Eleonora Church, at Östermalmstorg in
Stockholm, was another honorable assignment.
The copper tree, which is almost three
meters tall, plays a central role in baptisms
and funerals. Every time someone is
baptized, a crystal drop is added to the tree,
and when someone passes away, a candle is
lit on one of the tree’s gnarled branches.
TEN YEARS AGO SEBASTIAN opened his
galley. “I am very proud to be able to collaborate
with, and present, so many of today’s
leading artists.” The gallery has presented
one hundred artists in various exhibitions.
The exhibitions often result in the artists’
work ending up in important collections, at
museums or in private homes. The gallery
displays high-class art and jewelry in many
different materials by both well-established
artists and up-and-coming. “Together with

influential, interesting and present things
that might not be obvious for the public.”
The artwork is beautiful, inspirational and
relevant. It represents contemporary society
and are of such high quality that it can be
described as future antiquities..
