the qualities I recognize and that we strive to
create in our own design.”

Levien: ”The issue of sustainability has become
urgent and we have to address this if we are to
work with a clear conscience. I’m not saying we
are doing everything in a perfect way, but now
we, from the very start, are thinking about how
the product/concept will have an impact on the

10 years from now. Where are Doshi Levien?
Doshi: ”We are involved in a really exciting
urban regeneration project, where we’re not
just creating pieces but forming a design
strategy for public space from a human scale
perspective. I really see our studio doing more
of this work.”
Levien: “Our experience of a city is influenced
by our immediate material environment and this
is what we specialized in for the last 20 years. We
have a valuable perspective to contribute when
developing a large scale project”..
